The project team is happy to annouce the publication that the first two policy guidelines that were elaborated in the past month. The guidelines touch upon the insights gained throughout our first two webinar series hosted by Tartu Regional Energy Agency and the University Kaunas. The first guideline discusses different options of public-private collaboration models in smart city projects. Examples from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are described and recommendations for municipalities given. The second guideline expands on the topic of open data in the smart city development. It highlights the advantages of open data for cities, decribes cases of open data platforms from Latvia, Lithuania and Germany and derives conclusions for how to best use open data in municipalities.
